Shipper: A plain cardboard box with some printing on the bottom reading ITEM NO.: 14050/DESC.: "Video Montgomery"TM/Adult Collectable doll/The JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMSTM Collection. The doll box was wrapped in clear cellophane bag.
Box with sleeve: as it came out of the shipper & clear bag.
Box: Came in a thick cardboard diagonal edged box, sort of a satin finish (not shiny, not matte). It is black with a silver foil shooting star with the name of the doll inside printed in it. The record has embossed grooves on it! These boxes look the same except for the name inside the star.
The back is comprised mostly of a black background and a repetition of the pink music notes/stars/confetti design in pink.
Sleeve: Glossy thin card stock, die cut edges on top.
The box cover lifted off to reveal the doll inside - she is tied in with white ribbons and has a hair net to hold her hair in place. The knees are protected/held in place with clear vinyl. To the left of the doll is a thin cardboard "door" with the doll's name on it, which opens to reveal the accessory tray. Some parts are in plastic baggies or attached to a pink piece of cardboard. The stand base is behind her calves in a separate compartment. Behind the inner tray that holds both the doll and "locker" part is where the COA and instructions can be found.
The inside of the top cover is black and has has a bright Jem logo & confetti/music notes design printed on the inside. The inner part of the back of the box is undecorated black. The doll display area is hot pink.
Certificate of Authenticity: postcard sized. There is no mention of the edition size. This COA has come with all of the dolls so far, except for: Hollywood Jem, The Holograms Stage Essentials, The Misfits Stage EssentialsWho is He Kissing Jem/Jerrica Benton, In Stitches Jem & Pizzazz Duet Gift Set, Glitter 'n Gold RioGlitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica Benton.
Instructions: Demonstrate how to put the camera together and hand removal. It came folded and wrapped in a cellophane baggie with the COA underneath the inner box. It is specific (so far) to Video.

Source Differences from produced doll (if any)
Hasbro dollIntegrity's fashion is somewhat duller than the Hasbro doll; the jacket is paler/matte velveteen in place of Hasbro Video's iridescent look; there is no "V" on the lapel or turquoise braid on the IT version either. The IT jacket also has epaulettes. The belt also loses the pink but retains the overall 'arrow' shape and approximate silvery colour. The pants are the same general scheme of yellow with a silver stripe down the front. The hairbow is omitted, in the IT version, and the IT shoes aren't pink either (they are blue), effectively taking away all of Hasbro's pink touches.
Her hair is a platinum blonde with a white streak rather than brassy yellow; it also has a lot more attention paid to the bangs and front of her hair, with a banana clip to boot, though more for looks than function as the hair is held in place with a pony tail anyway. Hasbro's eye make up is all in purple shades; her lips are light pink and she has a small beauty mark. Integrity nixed the beauty mark, darkened the lips a lot and the eye colour also has yellow and blue in with the lavender. The differences between the video cameras is huge! Integrity's is an era-specific betamax with the separate video recorder, vs Hasbro's "little girl" pink and turquoise toy.
Illustrations: Cartoon Again Integrity shows is alliance with the cartoon rather than remaking a Hasbro doll. The jacket looks very much like the one on the cartoon; the belt however does borrow from the Hasbro doll by keeping the triangular shape. Cartoon Video's pants often came across as jodhpurs (she was a director, after all!) whereas Integrity's pants keep the tight waist but omit any puffiness in the thigh area. Integrity kept the blue shoes and banana clip hairstyle of the cartoon - at least for show: the hairstyle is actually held in place by a pony tail rather than the banana clip doing the work. Rather than giving her brassy yellow hair, she got a subdued blonde shade, but, bless them, they included the little white streak Video wears in the Starbright series. The make up is cartoon-accurate; though the eyeliner/undereye layer is somewhat restrained in comparison.
