12 inch (30.5 cm) Articulated fashion doll: pale Caucasian ("Japan" skin tone, in Integrity terms) complexion; vermilion lip colour, blue eyes, eyeshadow in shades of orange, arched brown eyebrows, hand-applied black lashes. Her platinum blonde hair came in a very stiff molded "snake" curl style shown here. In back it is very long & curly, in a low ponytail secured with a clear elastic and black banana clip. She has pierced ears; her earrings are not in her ears during transport, they are in a baggie in her accessory tray.
  • Dated 2012 on the back of her head.

She has an articulated smooth vinyl body that can hold many poses. She comes with two pairs of hands. She is marked ©2012 Integrity on her rear.
  • Integrity's Color Infusion line also uses this body type.
  • Her fingernails and toenails have vermilion polish.

These are the ones she was packaged with. They have vermilion nail polish.
The second pair are in different positions, also with vermilion nails. They came in her box in a little baggie in a tray behind the yellow cardboard "door" with "The Stingers" written on it, beside her in her box.
outfit Made up of pieces itemized below.

Jacket: Lined with yellow satiny material, it's a yellow sleeveless base with a long pointed collar; a sheer iridescent fabric is layered over top and extends into sleeves, which is printed with the black designs. The interior of the lapels is a thin black nylon which also makes up the top part of her "vampire" collar. (inside) It has 6 hook-and-eye closures in the back. It is a very complex garment, I must say!

Skirt: Fitted yellow miniskirt with two hook and eye closures in back. Lined with yellow satiny material, has the same double-layered fabric as the jacket, with printed black horizonal stripes. (back)

Tights: Black fishnet, elasticized waist, seams in the back. Appear to be the same as those that came with Stormer.
  • Sadly do not come with the additional flesh-tone stockings that Stormer came with.
banana clip: Hinged, approximately 1 inch long, black plastic.
accessories Made up of pieces itemized below. These were placed in a clear plastic tray concealed behind the yellow cardboard "door" with "The Stingers" written on it, beside her in her box, not visible until the package is opened completely.
Earrings: Gold tone metal, dangling hoops. Came in a baggie on a black piece of cardboard.

Guitar strap: Black grosgrain ribbon with faux leatherette ends, black buckle.
  • The same strap is included with Riot.
Thick Bracelet (gold): Gold-tone metal, thinner around the opening. Came in a baggie on a black piece of cardboard.
Thin Bracelet (black) X 2: Came in a baggie on a black piece of cardboard.
Rapture's Mystic Love Potion: As narrated by Rapture in the Stingers Hit Town Part 2. Dated 2013, Hasbro.
  • Carrots is misspelled.
Guitar: Black plastic body with gold sparkles and designs of yellow stripes and a white 5 pointed star. Silver pick ups, & knobs, "real" pluckable clear nylon strings, silver whammy bar. Came attached to a black piece of cardboard with the strap and love potion.
accessories (cont'd): It came in a small baggie that was taped on the front of the accessories tray with another baggie with the black fishnet glove.
cord: thin black plastic cord with gold-tone connectors. They fit (it's pretty tight!) into the bottom of the microphone and into the figure stand base.
glove: Handless black fishnet.

shoes: Yellow satiny texture, scalloped sides and black soles. (Came in a baggie)

  • Raya's shoes are similar but the texture is shiny with small sparkles, not satiny.

doll stand Made up of pieces itemized below.
stand base: black hollow plastic with the Jem logo printed on the top, licensing information on the underside.

Stand pole: gold-tone plastic tube with an adjustable metal inner pole.
under arm doll holder: Attaches to the top of the stand pole.
saddle style holder: Attaches to the top of the stand pole.
Box, liner and inserts not noted in Integrity's box contents above.

Shipper: A plain cardboard box with some printing on the bottom reading ITEM NO.: 14038/DESC.:Phoebe "Rapture" Ashe/The JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMSTM Collection. The doll box was wrapped in clear cellophane bag.

Box with sleeve: as it came out of the shipper & clear bag.
  • The same design, with the exception of the name printed on the box, was used for all three Stingers dolls.

Box: Came in a thick cardboard diagonal edged box, satin finis. It is black with a an iridescent grey foil triangle with the name of the doll inside printed in it, with scattered yellow designs. The record has embossed grooves on it. The Stingers' boxes look the same except for the name inside the triangle.
The back is comprised mostly of a black background and a repetition of the yellow triangles/stars/confetti design.

Sleeve: Glossy thin card stock, die cut edges on top. Stingers logo on indigo, the same sleeve came with all three Stingers dolls.

The box cover lifted off to reveal the doll inside - she is tied in with white ribbons and has a hair net to hold her hair in place. The knees are protected/held in place with clear vinyl. To the left of the doll is a thin cardboard "door" emblazoned with the Stingers logo, which opens to reveal the accessory tray. Some parts are in plastic baggies or attached to a black piece of cardboard. Taped directly in the box is a baggie that contains the glove and cord. The stand base is behind her calves in a separate compartment. Behind the inner tray that holds both the doll and "locker" part is where the COA and instructions can be found.

The inside of the top cover is yellow with the Stingers logo, decorated with a triangles/stars/confetti design. The inner part of the back of the box is undecorated black. The doll display area is repetition of the yellow triangles/stars/confetti design on a black field.

Certificate of Authenticity: postcard sized. There is no mention of the edition size. This COA has come with all of the dolls so far, except for: Hollywood Jem, The Holograms Stage Essentials, The Misfits Stage EssentialsWho is He Kissing Jem/Jerrica BentonGlitter 'n Gold RioGlitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica Benton.

Source Differences from produced doll (if any)
Hasbro DollsRapture was never produced by Hasbro in the 80's, but a few prototypes exist. We can't guess what would have been changed, had the doll went into production, but these prototypes were made of a more tan vinyl than most Jem dolls that were produced. The prototype of the dress was made of an iridescent fabric (think cheapie mermaid tails) with black vinyl tape making up the design, and a black vinyl collar. It was a minidress, not two separate clothing parts.
Illustrations: Cartoon  The cartoon fashion looks very much like it is a minidress, rather than a two-piece outfit. It may have been a purely aesthetic choice for Integrity to separate it into components, or perhaps a matter of difficulty (the top they made is quite a marvel to me). Otherwise it's pretty faithful to the cartoon - the earrings, bracelets, glove, tights and shoes, as well as her make up scheme. The hair is a bit low in the back, in my opinion (it is shown much higher on the cartoon), and the hair is definitely more plastered down to keep it in place during shipment; owners are expected to make minor adjustments on their own.
