Comments/Trivia
  • Licensed by Hasbro and produced by Integrity Toys.
  • Rio, Classic Jem, Jerrica Benton and Synergy were available to pre-order through Integrity dealers on October 5, 2012. Many stores sold out that evening. It would be up to individual dealers to have dolls literally on their shelves, rather than being available solely through the Internet.
  • Rio, Classic Jem, Jerrica Benton and Synergy were/are also sold in large Canadian cities at Holt Renfrew, a high end department store, approximately a month before any of the pre-orders shipped.
  • Limited Edition of 750 dolls.

12 inch (30.5 cm) Articulated fashion doll: Synergy's skintone is a cool light purple shade with a plummy shade of waved purple hair. She has glued on purple eyelashes and an iridescent sheen over her eyes. She has pierced ears.

She has an articulated smooth vinyl body that can hold many poses. She comes with two pairs of hands. She is marked ©2012 Integrity on her rear.
  • Her unusual lavender skintone was used again on two different 2013 Integrity convention-exclusive Color Infusion Style Lab dolls (Camira and Laka).
  • Integrity's Color Infusion line also uses this body type.
  • Her fingernails and toenails have dark pink polish.

These are the hands she was packaged with. They are coated with a pink lavender chrome finish and are in a slightly different pose than the extra pair she came with.
The second pair are in different positions with nail polish. They came in her box in a little baggie in a tray behind the purple cardboard "door" with her name on it beside her in her box.
outfit Made up of pieces itemized below. People used to Hasbro playline quality will be impressed with the attention to detail with Integrity dolls!

Full body Leotard/Bodysuit: Made of a very fine tinsel weave (close up of the textures), of a pale lavender fabric. When the light hits it right it can create a rainbow effect, very pretty! The purple areas are a thin metallic 'paint', for lack of a better term -some sort of acrylic adhered to the fabric in a very thin layer. There are white elastic stirrups attached. I can't get mine to actually stay in place as the feet are too slippery! The bodysuit is tagged, very form fitting, with three hook and eye closures in the back. Like other Integrity dolls, her knees were wrapped in clear vinyl, I suppose to keep them in place during shipment.

Bodysuit: Made of the same very fine tinsel weave as the full body leotard part (close up of the textures), of pale pink & pale lavender fabric, lined with the same fabric. The decorated areas are a thin metallic 'paint', for lack of a better term -some sort of acrylic adhered to the fabric in a very thin layer. The bodysuit is tagged & very form fitting, with three hook and eye closures.
Arm warmers/gloves: metallic pale pink pleather with lavender trim. Match her boots.

headband: Made of the same very fine tinsel weave as the rest of her outfit (close up of the textures), with a silver bead/elastic closure. It's doubled over but generally mine just looks like a single layer.
accessories Made up of pieces itemized below. Along with her second pair of hands, these were placed in a clear plastic tray concealed behind the purple cardboard name door/wall that she is displayed beside in the box, not visible until the package is opened completely.
box for Jerrica: cardboard with a red ribbon bow and Jerrica tag. This box is shown in The Beginning, when Synergy reveals herself to Jerrica for the first time. You think that is good attention to detail, read on...
Jemstar Earrings: red painted metal earrings. Mine were a bit on the crusty side! ;) Came punched through a piece of purple plastic in a baggie.
Jacqui Benton Master tape: made of a few pieces of cardboard stuck together, so it has the right thickness, © 2012 Hasbro on back.
  • It's the little details like this that make Jem fans happy, I can tell you! The master tapes were mentioned in the episode Out of the Past.
Cardboard hard copy print out, Jacqui Benton song titles: Glossy cardboard, marked © 2012 Hasbro.
  • As if the master tapes weren't an arcane enough detail! I'm imagining the accessories' designer taking screen captures of Out of the Past to get this kind of detail right. Now that is dedication!
Circuit board design, glossy cardboard, marked © 2012 Hasbro.

  • I'm not sure if these were featured in the cartoon or not. It wouldn't surprise me if they did flash up on screen for a split second though!

shoes: metallic pale pink pleather with lavender trim, real working zipper in the back. Match her arm warmers. Black soles.
doll stand Made up of pieces itemized below.
stand base: black hollow plastic with the Jem logo printed on the top, licensing information on the underside.

Stand pole: chromed plastic tube with an adjustable metal inner pole.
under arm doll holder: Attaches to the top of the stand pole.
saddle style holder: Attaches to the top of the stand pole.
Box, liner and inserts not noted in Integrity's box contents above.
Shipper: A plain cardboard box with some printing on the bottom reading ITEM NO.: 14023/DESC.:SYNERGY/Adult Collectible Dressed Doll/The JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMSTM Collection. The doll box was wrapped in clear cellophane bag.
Box with sleeve: as it came out of the shipper & clear bag.
Box: Came in a thick cardboard diagonal edged box, sort of a satin finish (not shiny, not matte). It is black with a silver foil shooting star with the name of the doll inside printed in it. The record has embossed grooves on it! These boxes look the same except for the name inside the star.
The back is comprised mostly of a black background and a repetition of the pink music notes/stars/confetti design in pink.
Sleeve: Glossy thin card stock, die cut edges on top.

The box cover lifted off to reveal the doll inside - she is tied in with white ribbons and has a clear acetate bonnet to hold her hair in place. The knees are protected/held in place with clear vinyl. To the left of the doll is a thin cardboard "door" with the doll's name on it, which opens to reveal the accessory tray. In Synergy's case, they are inside a long rectangular clear plastic tray with little cups that hold the earrings, present, boots, stand parts, etc. Some parts are in plastic baggies or attached to a purple piece of cardboard. The stand base is behind her calves in a separate compartment. Behind the inner tray that holds both the doll and "locker" part is where the COA and instructions can be found.
  • The Holt Renfrew dolls had an additional clear plastic tray that covered the front of the doll & door, presumably to keep the doll somewhat more protected for display purposes.
The inside of the top cover is black and has has a bright Jem logo & confetti/music notes design printed on the inside. The inner part of the back of the box is undecorated black. The doll display area is purple; so far Synergy is the only doll to have this colour.

Certificate of Authenticity: postcard sized. There is no mention of the edition size. This COA has come with all of the dolls so far, except for: Hollywood Jem, The Holograms Stage Essentials, The Misfits Stage EssentialsWho is He Kissing Jem/Jerrica BentonGlitter 'n Gold RioGlitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica Benton.
Non-Instrument Instructions: Demonstrate how to put the stand together, hand removal and hair styling tips. It came folded and wrapped in a cellophane baggie with the COA underneath the inner box. So far has come with

Instructions: French side. Oddly came with an English-only box (not from Holt Renfrew).
