Jem "roadie" jacket: green lamé, metal snap closure. See the awesome Jem logo on the back!
  • It's referred to simply as a "roadie" jacket on the 1987 Canadian card.

pink slacks: crisp fluorescent pink cotton, like the Friend or Stranger pantsuit. Velcro closure in the front.
  • I have noticed this material is not colourfast, so unless you can help it or really know what you are doing, avoid putting these pants in water!

sneakers: lime green Rio sneakers. Circle tread on soles, very rubbery and thinner than shoes from the Rio dolls.
  • These are the only green Rio shoes.

Packaging Variants: A listing of the packaging that On The Road With Jem can be found in, that I know of, so far!
*I don't own all of these fashions NRFB so I can't say which, if any posters and inserts originally came with it. Bold listings are those I have used to create this ID page. Anything in Italics I haven't actually seen but have good reason to believe exists. If you have any photos or information/corrections to share, I'd love to hear about it!

The following sources all use the same photograph (photo)

  • 2nd year catalogue poster

-looks very much like the produced outfit, the shoes look a bit too yellow though.
The photo used in the 1986 Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue and various other sources-has white sneakers.
Illustrations: Hasbro Box art (shown left) -shows an orange shirt which was not included in the produced fashion.
I don't think it appeared on the cartoon.
