palm tree dress: crisp cotton halter mini dress with palm trees and purple squares design. The straps velcro at the back and are made of clear pink plastic

belt: The same pink clear plastic material used on the dress straps; has a sewn on green glitter sticker shaped like a palm tree. 

hose: fluorescent green matte tights, elasticized waist. 

shoes: Bright pink open toed heeled sandals.

1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second Year Jem Catalogue Poster and the Second Year package art uses the same photo (See top of page) several differences: the most obvious being that the tights that come with this fashion are green and plain - not yellow and fishnets.  The shoes are shown to be regular pink pumps and the pink vinyl looks darker than it is in the produced fashion.

Illustrations: Cartoon  See left, The fashion on the cartoon looks a lot like the photograph from the box, with straight edge pumps and yellow tights. The actual fashion has green tights and sandals. The cartoon version also shows earrings and possibly a hair accessory; these were not included with the fashion.
