      striped top: white thick cotton with vertical dark aqua stripes, hemmed with aqua blue lamé, sleeve cuffs are elasticized.
      • This striped pattern was going to be reused for other clothing pieces in 1988, according to the photos in the Hasbro Pre-Toy Fair Catalogue Matching Medley Fashions.

      stretch pants: Spandex with elasticized waist; blue and black horizontally striped.

      belt: long, asymmetrical pink leatherette with blue hologram "buckle" sewn on front, fastens with velcro
      shoes: Salmon pink straight edge pumps.

      The same photo (see top of page) is used for the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second Year Jem Catalogue Poster and the Second Year package art and it looks like what was produced.
      It's Workin' Out Video Madness Box front image (same photo used  in the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue Video Madness section)I can't see any differences from the produced outfit.

      It is one of the outfits featured in the Rock N' Curl Jem & Rock Backstager commercials (apparently the same footage).   It may be in other commercials I haven't yet screen captured for this site. no glaringly obvious differences that I can see from the produced fashion.
