Comments/Trivia
  • 1 of 8 Flip Side Fashions released in 1986
  • The name of this fashion is a not Jem song title.
Produced Variants So far, I have seen this fashion sold in the following packaging. Since they were all made in China, unless noted elsewhere I don't know if there are any country-of-release related differences or not:
  • US issue Flip Side Fashions, 1986 Made in China H22 (illustrated box) (fashion featured on this ID page is this issue)
  • US issue Flip Side Fashions, 1986 Made in China H44 (illustrated box) (fashion featured on this ID page is this issue)
  • Canadian issue Flip Side Fashions, 1986 (illustrated box)
  • 6 language Flip Side Fashions, 1986 (illustrated box) Made in China H-44

peach blouse: smooth peach poly-cotton with elasticized neck and cuffs.
  • There is a variation of this blouse with an elasticized waist.

blue skirt: slightly stretchy cotton/poly mix. Velcro closure in back, very full circle skirt.

shawl: white fringed white material with blue, peach and pink floral design.
tights: Pale peach lace tights.
straw hat with ribbon: Rather generic looking straw hat with a shiny baby blue ribbon, has plain white elastic sewn to it to hold it on head.
  • My H22 fashion's hat ribbon is a slightly different shade and the weave is a bit thicker and lighter on the hat.  See a photo of them together.
sunglasses: blue
  • My H22 fashion's sunglasses are a different shape but roughly the same shade.  See a photo of them together.
  • 1st Edition Jem & Sophisticated Lady also came with blue glasses in different shades.  See a photo of all the blue sunglasses shades I know of to tell them apart.

sandals: Bright, vibrant turquoise, "attached" straps without L & R markings on the soles.
  • There are a few Jem outfits with similar style/colour of shoes, see a photo of them together.
  • There is also a "flush straps" version of these shoes that would have come in an H22 marked box.
Items not listed in Hasbro's box contents (not all dolls came with the same posters and inserts, this is a listing of what I got personally with my Rock Country fashion)
Rhonda Robinson's version came with a pink necklace.  I haven't heard of any other Rock Countrys coming with one.

Packaging Variants: A listing of the packaging that Rock Country can be found in, that I know of, so far!
Bold listings are those I have used to create this ID page.  Anything in Italics I haven't actually seen but have good reason to believe exists.  If you have any photos or information/corrections to share, I'd love to hear about it!
