Spanish Pizzazz
In order for this to be interesting, you should probably be familiar with the China/Hong Kong Pizzazz.  There is also a Mexican Pizzazz which, boxed, may appear to be a Spanish doll as the text is Spanish on both. On this site, only dolls made in Spain will be called Spanish dolls.
  • Thanks to Laura (Badgerprincess) for ALL the info and photos on this page!
  • Here she is, in her Spanish box.
  • She came with a one-sided illustrated poster, with Spanish text.
  • Comb & stand have "TM" marks.
  • She comes with the "tall body" and hand style.
  • Back of head says "hasbro 1985"
  • Back says (C) 1985 hasbro inc. made in spain
  • A detail of the Spanish box.  Note the text, "Verdaderamente Fantàstica," (Truly Fantastic) which seems to be unique to Spanish-made dolls.  It appears that Hasbro is known as Milton Bradley (or, MB España)  in Spain.
Surprisingly, the tape is English, even though the song titles are written in Spanish.
A uniquely Spanish trait- the boxes open up at the top, instead of being glued down.
The panties: I was told they were different somehow- so have a good look!
The shoes are a blue grey, and "If I squish them then I can get the two sides to touch easily."
The most obvious difference is the guitar, which is a purplish-pink instead of the usual gunmetal grey colour.
