  • In the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue (same photo is used in the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue), the floral pattern looks darker and sparser on the jacket and pants (matches the guitar better)
  • On the back of the Music is Magic fashion boxes (same photo appears on the 2nd year catalogue poster), the pattern still is shown to be the darker/sparser one.
  • The back of the box always says what is contained with the fashion.  The bold words in my descriptions are what Hasbro themselves stated came with the it; Includes: Jacket, pants, bandeau, T-shirt, ankle boots and guitar.

  • This distinctive blue floral pattern was going to be reused for other clothing pieces in 1988, according to the photos in the Hasbro Pre-Toy Fair Catalogue Matching Medley Fashions.
  • pants: They are made of a slightly shiny spandex material, elasticized at the waist, and split vertically at the hems.
    bandeau
    T-shirt Blue mesh, velcro closure in back. 
    ankle boots: Dark Pink.  Significantly thicker and darker than Flash N' Sizzle Jem's boots.
    Guitar: Shiny blue designed label placed on matte blue plastic guitar, silver cord.  4 strings and 4 tuning pegs, it's nevertheless referred to as a guitar on the back of the package for this fashion.
