The photo (see left) used in both the first
year Jem catalogue poster and the 1986
Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue is rather different from the produced fashion.
Notice the white belt and holographic purple "buckle", the sheerer overskirt
and the straight-edged shoes. The neckline on the pantsuit also dips
in the middle, unlike the produced fashion.
Another photo is used in the
1986
German Leaflet (same photo appears in
the 1986 Belgium catalogue):

overskirt, but it's missing the socks and has a pair of pale mauve straight
