Let's Rock This Town and the other Flip Sides
in
the 1986
US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue: The Jem side of the dress is very different-
it's yellow with glitter-glue dots on it. The Jerrica side has thinner
blue stripes, the tights, belt and ribbon are a lot darker than the produced
fashion's. The sunglasses are opaque, and the shoes are straight-edged
yellow pumps.
Let's Rock This Town
in the 1986 German Leaflet
(same photo appears in the 1986
Belgium catalogue): Jem's dress is yellow with
glitter-glue dots on it, Jerrica's dress has thinner blue stripes, the
tights are very sheer and slightly blue, the hat is white, the belt and
ribbon are much darker (nearly magenta) and the shoes are straight edged
hot pink pumps.
The drawing of Let's Rock This Town on the 1986 Flip
Side Fashions box art is nearly spot on. Good job!
The Second Year
package photograph of Let's Rock This Town, (the
same photo is used for the 1987
US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987
France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second
Year Jem Catalogue Poster) has slightly darker pinks in it, but otherwise
looks like the produced version.
It did appear
on the cartoon.
