Jem herself came with two types of flashing earrings, those being the
bulb kind (found only on the Original Jem/Jerrica doll),
and the star-capped kind, found on Glitter and Gold
Jem, Flash and Sizzle Jem, and even some
of the Original Jem/Jerrica dolls. The
star-caps are actually very easy to take off and replace, so you can make
your own Original Jem/Jerrica with flashing earrings without much difficulty!
(Moral of the story: Don't pay a lot of money on a loose Original Jem/Jerrica
JUST because she has star-capped earrings!)
Rock N' Curl Jem was the only Jem doll that
came with non-flashing earrings, (I'm excluding Rockin'
Romance Jem here since she isn't considered part of Hasbro's Jem collection)
presumably because she was a "cheaper" version of Jem.
The only other earrings in Jem's world were those that belonged to
the second year versions of the Holograms (Kimber,
Shana
and Aja), as well as Raya.
The prototype dolls shown in the Second
Year Jem Catalogue Poster and on the back of the second
year boxes are all shown wearing hoop earrings,
which is incorrect, though they did get the colours right in most cases.

BRACELETS

of Fire N' Ice, which came with a gold zig-zag bracelet like Glitter N'
