Probably the most difficult items for collectors to track down today- they are tiny, breakable and came with the rarest fashions, the Flip Side fashions. Thankfully though, there are some (relatively) easy to find glasses that came with the three Jem/Jerrica dolls, Rio's Rappin' fashion (as well as some Rio dolls), and the Show Me the Way playset, so there is no reason for your myopic Jem dolls to suffer! |

Came with the second year Jem dolls and Flip Side Fashions only. |
1. Flip-side fashion /Jerrica glasses with the wider nose notch and sharper angles. 2. Flip-side fashion /Jerrica glasses which have a much narrower/triangular nose notch. 3. I believe are 1st Edition Rio glasses, they are the same shape as the Glitter N' Gold Rio glasses. Only some 1st Edition Rio's came with glasses, and unfortunately I don't have one so I can't tell you for sure if these are his. |

| Unfortunately, due to their rarity, I am missing some scans and this guide isn't complete. As well, I wasn't told how to differentiate the pairs from each other in some cases, so you'll just have to look at the pics yourself and try to figure out what you have. In most cases, if you have Jem glasses, they probably belong to one of the dolls. One day I hope to have this guide more complete. Until then, any knowledge or pics you can share is welcome! |

Violet/Pink: Broadway Magic |

Dark Raspberry pink: Flash N' Sizzle Jem |

Blue; Lightning Strikes and Running Like the Wind. Apparently, they are exactly the same shade. |

Pale Purple: She Makes an Impression. |

Opaque shiny gold: Glitter N' Gold Jem |
Rounded Glasses
| The Purples: So far have seen wide nosed/soft edges, wide nosed/sharp edges and triangular nose versions. The bottom one (triangular shaped nose) came with my NRFB City Lights. The other two, I can't for sure say, but Rappin, and some 1st Edition Rios came with purple, smaller glasses like these. If pressed, I would guess that some Rios had the top ones (they are the same shape as Glitter N' Gold Rio's) and the Rappin' ones most likely are those in the middle (wide nose/sharp edges). But I can't say for certain. |

The Blues, Not sure if they only
came in the various versions shown. 1st ed. Jem/Jerrica came with
either version in pretty much the same colour. See
a pic of them all together from above (you can really see the colour
differences this way)
Top to Bottom: 1st Ed Jem/Jerrica (wide nose version): Pale
turquoise blue.

International Sunglasses
Spanish 1st Edition Jem/Jerrica: Considerably
paler than all other blue Jem sunglasses. The nose area is a lot
sharper looking than another other Jem sunglasses.

Fluorescent yellow, Up N'
Rockin': slightly greener shade than those from Let's Rock This
Town.
(thanks to Rachel for the photo of the second pair of glasses) |

Yellow: Let's Rock This Town |

Gold (opaque): Glitter N' Gold Rio |
| Pink: Gettin' Down to Business Sunglasses; The same colour as the stands, but much thinner, so what should have been hot pink/fuchsia turned peachy fluorescent orange. They are the lightest pink sunglasses of this shape. |

Pink; Like a Dream. Hot pink, darker than Gettin' Down to Business's glasses but lighter than those from Music in the Air. |

Raspberry Pink: Music in the Air |
The exception to the rule- Very strange, asymmetrical clear yellow plastic.
| Yellow: Show me the Way (video madness playset); . They are not opaque with eye holes as shown on package, but more like regular Jem sunglasses. |
Thanks to Eliza, Rhonda and Nancy for helping out with the pics and info on this page!
