This section is always being expanded, I am interested in hearing any information not yet seen here about Jem in other countries, from either if the cartoon was aired there, to what products were available. Feel free to contact me with any of this information! |

| The Show: Jem was aired here from beginning to finish, and then in repeats up until around 1990. (this varies by region I guess). We also got the Super Saturday 7 minute clips (thanks Lisa for the confirmation on this!) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hasbro's Toyline: The easiest way to tell a Canadian box is
there will be a Canadian address (Longueil, Quebec)
on the back. The tagline on the doll boxes is "Truly Outrageous/Vraiment
Extravagante".
Canada had everything the US had.
The only difference I've been able to see is that we had a few differences
on the
MTV offer (we got an offer for some other
stuff not in the US). I haven't seen all the posters yet, but my
second year catalogue poster was double sided,
French
on one side, English on the other.
I also have a Canadian first year illustrated
poster that is for the most part the same as the US First
year Jem illustrated poster, the differences
being the TM marking, the "Truly Outrageous" is removed and "Truly Outrageous/Vraiment
Extravagante" is replaced in a different font, and the bottom right corner
says 1986 Hasbro Canada Inc. on it.
The French text on Canadian boxes differs from
the French on the European French boxes, here are some examples:
