Description: Long platinum blond hair with pink streak in the back, the pink is a lot lighter on my doll than any other Jem, unsure if that's typical of her.  It is usually styled in a flip. She's differentiated from all other Jem dolls in that she is smiling, has blinking earring and no tinsel in her hair.

	She shares the same face mold as Glitter N' Gold Jem and Rock N' Curl Jem, rumoured to be created as an improvement over the "ugly" unsmiling 1st year doll. In many countries outside the US/Canada, she is called Rock N' Flash Jem. Compare Flash 'N Sizzle Jem prototype photos, box art, cartoon form, comic book form and many other incarnations.

Flash 'n Sizzle Jem on her box back and sides (basically the same photo that's used  in the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue (except reversed) and the2nd year catalogue poster) Most obviously amiss are the weird satin-y loafers, that are basically drawn on her :)  The 2nd year catalogue poster (which is otherwise identical) shows her in yellow sandals. Her eyebrows are rather dark compared to my doll, the white of the teeth is a bit wider too (the lipstick isn't on the "teeth" at all, like it is on the doll) otherwise the make up is essentially the same. Flash 'n Sizzle Jem illustration (on the box front) As usual the pink in the hair is much darker than it is on the doll. The stone in her bracelet is pink, not clear Flash 'n Sizzle Jem models the Flip Side Fashions (The same photos are used for the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second Year Jem Catalogue Poster and the Second Year package art)  Again, just the darker eyebrows and more teeth showing, otherwise she looks like the produced doll.
