12 1/2" dollCaucasian-tone doll with long straight aqua hair, cut in two layers, with (arguably) Oriental features.
  • Nude, she can most easily be differentiated from her first edition by earring holes or earrings, or plastic bolts on the sides of her head (in the hair) where the ribbon was once attached.
  • Aja is the only Jem doll with this face mold.  Looks similar to Kenner's Darci doll face mold.

stage fashion (shirt); Plum lamé, 3/4 length sleeves, elasticized sides.
  • it is basically the same pattern as her the one that came with first edition Aja but with one long velcro closure in the back instead of two smaller ones.

stage fashion (skirt); black satiny material with multicoloured metallic fabric paint dots.
  • This same fabric is used on the dress for There Ain't Nobody Better.
  • The same fabric is used on a Misfits Smashin' Fashion prototype that was never produced.
  • Unlike 1st Edition Aja, there is no slit in the skirt.

stage fashion (tights); Matte canary yellow stretch tights
  • They are particular to this fashion, see differences in yellow tights here.

stage fashion (earrings); fluorescent green hoops with stars.

stage fashion (belt); It's made out of stretchy material with a velcro closure.
  • unlike the prototype photos, it is not shiny at all.

stage fashion (hair bow); It is yellow stretchy lace.
  • Should be attached to head with plastic bolts.  In many loose dolls this is no longer the case.

pretend musical instrument; Blue translucent/sparkly guitar with three tuning pegs, silver cord.
  • A purple version of this guitar came with Mexican Aja.
  • Her original version is light blue with a sparkly sticker decal.

pumps: Fluorescent pink, thin, scalloped-edged.
  • The same as Rock N' Curl Jem's.
  • One of many different shades of hot pink/scalloped edge pumps.  Here's a pic of: Clash (#1), Gold Rush (#2), Rock & Curl Jem /Second Edition Aja (#3) 's, & Second Edition Kimber's (#4) shoes side by side to help tell the difference.
  • Not sure if they differ from Puttin It All Together.

hairpick; canary yellow
  • The only other yellow Jem comb (Raya's) is fluorescent yellow, so it's a shade different
cassette tape; Jem Theme, Something is Missing, Share a Little Bit, 1986.
figure stand; Dark pink, not completely transparent, it's a bit milky-looking.
  • The same (or close enough for all practical purposes) stand came with Danse, Video, Flash N' Sizzle Jem, and the 2nd editions of:Aja, Kimber & Shana.
