Comments/Fun Facts Other Versions of this outfit (may contain files larger than 100 kb, click at your own peril!)
  • First Year only
  • An On Stage Fashion
  • There is no song called "Dancin' The Night Away"
  • All outfit scans are the contributions of Rhonda Robinson!
  • It was featured on the cartoon
  • The photo used in both the first year Jem catalogue poster and the 1986 Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue looks mostly like the produced outfit, except for the plain tights (they are not fishnets)
  • Another photo used in the 1986 German Leaflet,  (same photo appears in an issue of Topolino, and again in the 1986 Belgium catalogue) pictures the outfit without tights. Otherwise looks like what was produced.
  • First Year Package Art illustration looks pretty much exactly like what was produced, right down to the fishnets.
  • The back of a card/box always says what is contained in the fashion.  The bold words in my descriptions are what Hasbro themselves stated came with the fashion.
INCLUDES: blue mini dress, tights, scarf, and pumps.
blue mini dress; spandex, 3/4 sleeves, slit up both sides.  Dark turquoise blue (slightly bluer than "Winning is Everything" jumpsuit), velcros in back, foam shoulder pads sewn in.  There are appliqués at each shoulder of two silver leaves held together by an iridescent white circle with three gold dots.  There is no pattern on the dress, it just scanned funny.
tights, closed weave dark yellow/orange fishnets, elasticized waist.

  • There is a lacy tights variant. Thanks to Lynda for the info, and Redhotcherrie for the photo!
  • scarf; very fine yellow orange thready material, shaped like a triangle, accented with very fine gold threads, fringed.
pumps; Yellow Orange Straight Edged Pumps.
Pumps; variant that came with the lace tights version, they are (believe it or not, it doesn't appear so in these photos) lighter than the regular DTNA shoes but still darker than the rest of the straight edged yellow shoes. See a photo of all yellow shoes together for colour reference.  Thanks to Lynda for this photo, and the one shown left.
