Jem Page 1

Jem Original Outfit Was produced Up & Rockin' (Jem) Was produced
First appears in The Beginning and again in:

Disaster, Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands

At which point it is replaced by a more faithful reproduction of the doll's outfit.

The cartoon was pretty faithful to the doll's, except it had a dark pink belt at the beginning, it soon switched to white or grey, and her hair is shown as being completely pink, not blonde with pink streaks.

First appears in The Beginning and again in:

Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, Starbright Part 3: Rising Star, The World Hunger Shindig, In Stitches, Culture Clash, Hollywood Jem Part 2 (reused footage).

The first produced outfit (that didn't come on a doll) to appear in the show; I'm not even convinced it is, as it's just in a tiny segment in a Misfits video (repeated in a later video)

Jerrica's half doesn't appear until Frame Up.

Let's Rock This Town (Jem, blue) Was produced Jem Bathing Suit
First appears in Disaster and again in:

Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up

Eventually the cartoon version's dress is yellow and the tights are pink as shown in Video Wars

We first see this fashion as being really different from the dolls' produced fashion; it's baby blue with white tights and pink ankle boots.

Makes it's first and only appearance in Disaster.

This is a video-only fashion, yet it is included in the normal Jem wardrobe line with it's own model sheet number.  I didn't notice the cut-out panels at the waist in the cartoon, but they are clearly visible on the original model sheet.

The Jem Model sheet number for this fashion is J-16.

This is one of two of the only cartoon-only fashions that debuted on this episode.

Used with permission from Shevona.  See a scan of the actual cel model sheet (I have altered it to fit this page)..

A strange version of this (I think) appears in Britrock.

After this point it's replaced by a much lighter version.

City Lights (Jem) was produced Jem Purple Fantasy Dress
First appears in Kimber's Rebellion and again in:

Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Last Resorts, Scandal, Britrock

Looks a bit different from the produced fashion; most obvious I think is the hairbow that Jem wore.  The tights and belt are a lot lighter, the shoes are red (not purple) and the necklace is a choker, not... whatever the heck the one that was made is supposed to be.  I'll forgive the lack of glasses because we can't really expect Jerrica to be wearing sunglasses all the time :)  At least once Jem is shown with a red anklet, I'm not sure if it was always drawn with this fashion or not.

First appears in Frame Up and again in:

Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, Broadway Magic, Mardi Gras, Beauty and the Rock Promoter

The Jem Model sheet number for this fashion is J-11.
