9. 28-piece star set

Furry Tux Fashion
Lavender catsuit - has silver threads throughout, elastic waist, velcro in back.  Not stretchy.  Feet are like footie pajamas!
Jacket is made from a thin pelted, cheap velvet/ Matching fur sleeves and legwarmers. Jacket is unlined as are the legwarmers. The boots are awesome (boots!) They are soft but not squishy.
Close up of the boots! The color is a dull pewter tone, not really sparkly or pearlescent.

Space Girl Fashion
Dress is made from very thin tissue lamé, velcro in back. Has a gold "coin" epaulet on shoulder, made of the same gold dot vinyl as Barbie clutch purses, and gold fringe on the skirt hem. Pale pink thinly meshed tights (too big for her - with no stretch so they're hard to get on without runs).
Gold belt with matching fringe.
Gold boots! They are soft but no squishy. I could see this splitting pretty easily.

Show Girl Fashion
The showgirl-y leotard/gown thing is made of what I'd call seersucker tissue lamé, mostly gold but with a few pink and blue threads.  It velcros in back.  The skirt and the rosette on the bodice are a stiff nylon sheer. It's difficult to arrange the feathers in such a way as to allow the face to show.
Gold tights with subtle black highlights - open mesh weave. No stretchiness.
Silver vinyl "tiara" attached to elastic.
White open toed pumps.

Silver Screen Fashion
The corset top is made from a thin vinyl - I could see this getting rubs or tacky in a few years. The boa is just a bit of ribbed lace with two sizes of flowers in the weave. It doesn't stretch or have elastic. Matching rosette hair accessory with two silver ties.
Skirt is made from a scratchy Mego-like fabric. Silver bow at wraparound closure(Velcro).
Open weave silver mesh tights (too big for her)
Dark silver (almost dark grey) smooth heels.

Iridescent Jacket & Capris Fashion
This has a really cool display quality - the material is a white iridescent lamé with pink and blue highlights. Silver lamé halter top with two pink neck ties. It has an elastic waist and no closures - you have to slide her into it (which will probably pop threads eventually) Silver band with a silve mesh bow hair accessory with Velcro closure.
The jacket is lined with pink lame' very much like Jem's dress.  The lame' scanned dark, with a nonexistent pattern, and the iridescent fabric looks a lot whiter in person.  The jacket has no closure, but has some elastic gathering in the middle of the back.
The pants velcro in back.  They also have slits on the outside of the legs, and are pleated a very little bit at the waist.
Dark grey open toed heels.

10. 28-piece on-stage wardrobe

Fringey Fashion
Made from a very thin knit - almost threadbare, really. Has excellent highlights (shown in other photo). Fringe is irregualrly trimmed (on purpose?) Has the most excellent tights ever - they're made with a smaller mesh weave but have no stretch to them. They fit better than most of the other tights in this set. Bright but flat pink non-scalloped heels.
Close up of the hose.  Liz has different design?

Green Fashion
The green metallic parts are made from a thin (but sturdy) lamé and the black sparkly parts are a similiar knit to the Fringe Mini. It comes with mossy green open toed heels.
I have seen greenish - silver pumps (not sandals) that may also be for this fashion.

Blue Capris Fashion
Has peek-a-boo sleeves.  Pattern of shirt can vary somewhat.
A variant of this top.  Not sure if it was sold with Sears sets or some other fashions, but it's the same pattern.
The turquoise capris are similar to the white capris, but they have a flat front and aren't slit on the sides.  They velcro in back.  The gold loop-fringe trim is the same as that on the magenta-purple minidress and cummerbund.  They are quite iridescent in person.

Snakeskin dress
VARIANT: Made from a thick vinyl, snakeskin printed with gold cuffs. Silver plastic mottled belt with snap closure (shaped like JEm's original belt). Black and gold mesh tights (too big for her) and flat gold non-scalloped heels.
VARIANT: Grey toned, but same as the other one. Matching belt with gold bow on an elastic band (band is too big and you end up pinning it). Silver mesh tights (too big for her) and flat silver non scalloped heels.
I have seen yet another variant of the top, black and tan "distressed leather/acid wash" type pattern.

Magenta Threaded Fashion
Above is a different version from pieces shown right.
The main fabric is a really thin black knit base with magenta mylar threads that catch on everything, kind of like Clash's dress but not so well-woven or heavy.  The horizontal lines in the skirt are missing threads -- it's not an intentional pattern. The sleeves and attached hip scarf are stiff chiffon with silver mylar threads.  There are velcro closures in back on both pieces.  The hip scarf is too short to wrap around a doll's waist convincingly, and the hem is on the wrong side anyway;  it seems best left to flap dramatically.
Not sure about tights, possibly blue lace.

The various Instruments
Heavy cardbaoard keyboard, held together with a strip of tape on the back end - two gold tone plastic microphones (which are neat!), two gold toned plastic trumpets (also neat) and a very small two toned guitar that is sized more for the Starlight Girls than Jem.
