Mexican and Spanish dolls  (page is still under construction)

US issue: Made In China doll, - compressed font, star caps Mexican-made head, no markings China (?) made head on Mexican body (Mexican Hybrid) Spanish-made head.
The China made, star-capped Jem/Jerricas look most like the dolls that were made in Mexico and Spain so I'm using her as a comparison point for this page. Most obvious to me are the "reflection" dots in her eyes; they are huge on Mexican-made heads.
Blush on the cheeks is applied much higher.
Make up on the whole is paler; I don't know if it's an ageing thing or if they were always that way.
The eyebrows are applied quite out of line with the rest of her make up, I'm sure they aren't all like this, but sloppy paint in general is a hallmark of the Mexican-made dolls.
Has larger reflection dots in eyes, though not as wide as a Mexican-made doll.
Paler skintone, though not as pale as a Mexican-made doll.
Dark pink star caps, though not as dark as a Mexican-made doll.
Skin is "sweaty"
earrings stick out a bit more than normal (bulbs).  Body is slightly more tan coloured than usual.
Small battery cover, switch has grip on it.
