Stacey Rew of New Zealand says her 2nd ed Shana's
"pant-suit had a either purple, yellow or blue top and the pants may have
been red but they were not pink. Her hair bow was a plain red. Her earrings
were plain hoops and were yellow." I have yet to see photographic evidence
of this.

She shares the same face mold as Synergy
and Stormer.
Some first edition Shana's also have a widow's
peak, but unless they have the earrings or earring holes, it isn't
a Second Edition Shana.
The skin tone of 2nd edition Shana is also the same
shade as the widow's peak 1st edition Shana,
which is a bit lighter than the regular 1st edition
Shana. (confused yet? ^_^)
Her make up is generally the same as the widow's
peak 1st edition Shana (it's opaque, not sheer metallic) but it the
eyeliner is even more exaggerated, extending very far below the eyes.
She is often considered the rarest produced Jem doll
(rare is a relative term here!)

The back of the box always says what is contained
with the doll. The bold words in my descriptions are what Hasbro
themselves stated came with the doll;
Contains: 12 1/2" doll with stage fashion, pretend musical instrument,
pumps, hairpick, cassette tape and figure stand. |
